Alicia Locheed Goodrow – Biography

Alicia Locheed Goodrow is a distinguished Business and Tax Lawyer with extensive experience in both BigLaw and in-house roles. Her career is marked by a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering white-glove, personalized legal services to her clients. She is fluent in Spanish and travels regularly to Mexico City to meet with clients.

Alicia is married to Henry, and together they share a love for traveling, shopping for second homes, beachcombing in Maine, hiking in the Hill Country, and cheering on the Longhorns in Austin. Alicia is a 4th generation Houstonian who can share fun, little-known facts about her hometown.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Alicia sings in her church choir and dedicates her time as a volunteer board member of Christ the King Lutheran Church. She and Henry have two grown children, Zach, a finance guy who resides in Houston, and Haley, a soon-to-be PhD candidate in microbiology, who lives in Philadelphia. Their dogs, Randy and Molly, fill their empty nest with troubles and antics.

Alicia’s creative side shines through her fun fact: she keeps a sketching and watercolor journal, capturing the beauty of her experiences and surroundings through art.

Amy Holmes – Biography

Amy Holmes is a seasoned Business Lawyer whose experience includes leadership roles as General Counsel for private equity portfolio companies and private owner managed businesses as well as private practice with leading Houston law firms.

Her track record of preparing businesses and their owners for successful strategic exits highlights her practical, business-focused approach. Amy’s expertise spans a variety of industries, including energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing, where she has successfully guided companies through complex transactions and operational challenges. She is a member of the Exit Professionals Exchange (XPX) and has served on the board of directors for the Alliance of Mergers & Acquisitions Advisors.

She spends time away from work serving on the Advisory Board of The Rose Center for Breast Health, the Board of Directors of the Houston Alumnae Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta and volunteering with her daughters through the National Charity League – Heart of Texas Chapter, where she is 2025-2026 President-Elect. An Austin native and former resident of Nashville, Amy loves live music, spending time at the lake and always has a jigsaw puzzle she’s working on at home.

Carol Dubose – Biography

Her expertise includes serving as a corporate secretary and overseeing corporate governance for hundreds of international entities. Carol excels in drafting and administering a range of entity operating agreements, as well as implementing and managing comprehensive international compliance programs focused on anti-corruption, anti-bribery, and anti-money laundering initiatives. Additionally, she is skilled in general corporate administration and securities-related activities, as well as minority certification management.

As an active member of the Texas Bar Association’s Paralegal Division, the National Contract Management Association, and the National Association of Legal Assistants, Carol stays engaged in her professional development and the legal community.

Beyond her professional achievements, Carol is dedicated to her community. She currently serves on the board of Amazing Place in Houston, Texas, and has previously held board positions at River Oaks Baptist School in Houston. Carol is also involved with various organizations that empower women, further underscoring her commitment to making a positive impact both professionally and socially.

Amanda Dickinson – Biography

Amanda Dickinson is a results-driven Business Manager who has been a key part of Good Biz Law, since its inception in September 2022. With a background in childhood development and primary education from the University of Miami, she seamlessly blends her passion for people with a keen focus on operational excellence. Her strategic mindset and commitment to efficiency help drive the firm’s success while fostering a culture of collaboration and service.
A proud member of the Charter Chapter of Chi Omega, Amanda is deeply engaged in community service. Her early experiences as an Ecoteen at the Museum of Natural Science ignited a lifelong appreciation for education and outreach—one she continues to share through in-depth museum tours for friends and family. A native Houstonian, she was honored with the President’s Volunteer Service Award for dedicating over 500 hours to causes she believes in and remains committed to giving back to her community.

Beyond the office, Amanda enjoys culinary creativity, from perfecting her signature braised short rib ragu to crafting decadent desserts. An avid traveler and adventure-seeker, she holds an advanced open water scuba certification, earned during a memorable trip to Thailand. While she loves exploring the world, she also embraces all that Houston has to offer—from its diverse food scene to cheer on the city’s sports teams.
